Ingredients list for the Turkey Patties
- 1lb (450g) ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon chopped scallion
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or crumbled bouillon cube)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chili pepper flakes, optional
- 2 tablespoons fresh garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger, optional

Directions
1. To make the turkey patties: Combine all ingredients for the turkey patties (ground turkey, scallion, parsley, garlic, salt, cayenne, ginger, and chili flakes) in a medium-sized bowl and gently mix until everything is evenly combined. Do not overwork, so you’ll get a better texture.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil and 1 teaspoon butter together in a skillet over medium-high heat and divide the turkey mixture into six equal parts. Flatten gently to form the turkey patties, then sear the turkey patties in the skillet for 5-8 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 160ºF (71ºC). Make sure to give a good sear to the turkey patties so they’re crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. Serve the turkey patties with a dollop of chipotle aioli on the side, or squeeze between to slices of buns to make delicious turkey burgers. Enjoy!

- These turkey patties are healthy, fresh and full of flavor and make great lunches at work, or mid-day breaks on the campus.

These are so delicious and easy to make. My normally beef eating husband loved them and said they were flavorful enough not to have to use condiments. I did add some breadcrumbs to the mixture to help as a binder.

Fantastic! Few subs: dried parsley instead of fresh, and chopped white onion since I had no scallions. The adobo chipotle sauce suggestions was perfect on it! We added a little feta. Husband had his without bread over a salad and loved it. The others had it on brioche buns with a side of chips and salad. So good! Not dry at all (but the fresh onions might help that.) I'll make this again for sure. Thanks for posting!

Baked them, and it worked great I even added feta to it, and turned out even better. Much healthier in the oven! I added oil like you said to parchment paper and it kept it nice and juicy! Thank you!

I have tried so many turkey patty recipes but this one is a keeper! They were so tasty! I used the fresh ginger and it made all the difference. I also cooked them in a skillet and they turned out nice and brown but not dry. Definitely making these again!
