Ingredients list for the teriyaki zucchini noodles

  • Zucchini: Julienned or spiralized
  • Onion and garlic
  • Soy sauce: We recommend low-sodium soy sauce so you can better control the amount of salt in the dish.
  • Toasted sesame seeds: Bring a subtle crunch and a nutty flavor.
  • Teriyaki sauce: Store-bought Teriyaki sauce is OK. Try to find one that is low in sodium.
  • Fresh cilantro

How to make Teriyaki Zucchini Noodles

This recipe is super simple and only requires these three basic steps:

  • Make the sauce – Mix garlic, soy sauce, sesame seeds, teriyaki sauce, and oil in a bowl.
  • Cook the base – Stir-fry the onion and zucchini noodles, then season with salt and pepper. Add the sauce and toss to coat.
  • Finish & serve – Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro.

What to serve with the zucchini noodles?

These zucchini noodles are great on their own, but adding a protein makes them perfect for a full-blown, low-carb meal. We like adding grilled shrimp, turkey meatballs, or chicken bites.
