That’s “bottom of refrigerator” cuisine. What’s sleeping in my fridge’s crisper? What to do with 2 leeks, 5 slices of bacon and a piece of Cantal cheese?
Preparation: leeks fondue, crispy bacon & cheese crisps
In a saucepan, melt a little butter. Add the sliced leeks and a chopped slice of bacon. Make them to stew over low heat for 30mn.
Prepare the grated cheese. You can use any kind of hard cheese like emental, parmesan or cantal in our case . Form 4 small piles and melt in a pan. Cook until browned. Cool (on paper towels).
Fry 4 slices of bacon in a pan until crispy.
Prepare a nice mini-sandwiche: a cheese crisp, a bacon slice, leek fondue, bacon and Cantal. Over!
Bon Appetit!
