- 2 tuna steaks, about 6 to 8 ounces (170 to 225 g) each
- 3 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 lime juice
- 3 1/4 tbsp (5 cl) white wine
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 sugar cube
- Pepper
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- 4 onions
- About 1/2 cup (10cl) of water
- 2 tbsp (30g) salted butter
- 2 sugar cubes
- Olive oil
- 1 tbsp (15g) of butter to cook tuna
Directions
1. Make a marinade by mixing teriyaki sauce, lemon juice, white wine, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, pepper, and sugar.
2. Marinate the pieces of tuna steaks for an hour, turning regularly.
3. Put the onions in the mixture of water, salted butter, and sugar.
4. Cook gently until the water has almost evaporated.
5. Then add the cherry tomatoes. The confit is ready!
6. Drain the tuna steaks. Fry them in a mixture of butter and olive oil. Turn regularly. 3 minutes is sufficient.
7. Serve immediately with the onions and tomatoes.
