Directions
1. To make the garlic broccoli stir fry: Cook pasta al dente, according to package directions.
2. Blanch broccoli for 2 minutes in plenty of boiling water. Then soak broccoli into ice-cold water. Keep aside in a colander. You can omit this step if you like your broccoli super crunchy.
3. In the meantime, add all ingredients for the stir-fry sauce to a mason jar. Screw on the lid tightly and shake vigorously to combine.
4. When broccoli is ready, add two tablespoons of sesame oil to a large skillet and heat to medium. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring often, until fragrant.
5. Add broccoli florets and saute for 2 – 3 minutes. Add 1/2 cup of the stir fry sauce to the skillet and cook an additional 4 minutes, stirring often, until broccoli is cooked but still crunchy. Add a little water if the sauce gets too thick.
6. Add cooked, drained pasta to the pan with the broccoli and mix well to combine and reheat a little. Serve the garlic broccoli stir-fry immediately, adding a little more sauce on top if you like. Enjoy!
