How to make honey garlic chicken bites
The method to make the chicken bites recipe is super simple:
- Cut chicken breast into cubes, about 1-inch pieces.
- Dust chicken with cornstarch, salt, and pepper (cornstarch gives the chicken bites a slight crust so the sauce sticks to it better!)
- Sear chicken bites on all sides, then add garlic, lemon juice, chicken stock, and honey.
- Cook until the sauce thickens and gets sticky. Sprinkle the honey garlic chicken bites with parsley and red chili pepper flakes.

Tips for the chicken bites recipe
The secret to this recipe is to cut the chicken into 1-inch bite-sized pieces. This way, they only need to be cooked in a hot skillet for 6-8 minutes, until they are browned all over and cooked just right! If your skillet isn’t large enough, cook the chicken bites in two batches to avoid overcrowding the pan and having steamed chicken instead of that nice golden sear!

Directions
1. To make the honey garlic chicken bites: Add the chicken breast cubes to a large salad bowl together with cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Mix to evenly coat all the chicken pieces.
2. Heat the oil in a large skillet, over medium-high heat. Melt butter into the oil and add the chicken breast cubes and cook on all sides until golden brown, for about 6-8 minutes. You may need to work in batches, to avoid overcrowding the pan and steaming the chicken bites.
3. Once the chicken is done cooking, pour over the garlic, honey, chicken stock, lemon juice, and hot sauce (if using) and stir to completely coat; allow the sauce to simmer for a couple of minutes to meld all the flavors and reduce a little until it sticks to the chicken bites.
4. Garnish the honey garlic chicken bites with fresh chopped parsley and red chili pepper flakes, then serve over rice. Enjoy! ❤️

This was really delicious! The whole family loved it. The only change I would make is to add a little soy sauce. Also, to double the sauce! We were scraping the pan for more sauce to drizzle over rice. Absolutely making again!

I made this for dinner and my boyfriend really liked it. It was quick and I almost all the ingredients at home. I used fresh lemon juice and Thai chilies in place of the crushed red pepper.

This is my second time making this recipe. I have to mention the serving sizes are off because 1lb of chicken is not enough for 4 people, more like 2. This is the best sauce I've ever made, but it is extremely high is sugar due to the amount of honey.

Super easy and tastes amazing! I added a tablespoon or so of soy sauce and let it simmer for a bit longer and cooked the chicken with broccoli. Wonderful!

I love it super easy, I added some cornstarch to thicken up the sauce alittle and cooked it for about 5 minutes before added the chicken, just because the garlic is strong.
