Pan-fried cod fillets
Cod is a type of white fish with firm flesh that tends to flake easily. Because of its sweetness, cod doesn’t have a fishy taste like tilapia or sometimes halibut. A cod fillet is full of flavor and goes great with any kind of seasoning. This cod recipe goes well with any side dish such as steamed asparagus, roasted vegetables, rice, or couscous.

Directions
1. To make the honey garlic cod skillet: Season codfish fillets with salt and pepper. Let them while you prepare the sauce
2. Combine honey, garlic, mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper, paprika, and Cayenne in a small bowl.
3. Heat olive oil in a large stainless-steel or cast-iron skillet over medium-low heat. Gently cook fish on both sides until golden brown – About 4 minutes per side.
4. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the cod fillets and make sure to coat them well. Continue cooking for 2 minutes, moving the fillets around in the pan, so the sauce sticks to the fish.
5. Garnish with cilantro, crushed chili pepper, and lemon slices, and serve the honey garlic cod fillets immediately. Enjoy! ❤️

I made this last night -- with a few modifications. (I didn't have a 1/2 cup of honey) so used about a 1/4 cup, and added a bit more oil and lemon juice. I also a bit of turmeric and ginger. It was DELICIOUS !! Having the leftovers for lunch with my salad and I'm such a happy camper right now : )

This recipe was amazing! Very simple instructions which made the execution just as easy. Unfortunately, I did have to swap out the whole grain dijon for the regular version since my local grocery store did not have any. The taste was still very good! My wife loved it! I will try the whole grain version next time, I'm sure that will be yummy as well. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
