I‘m sure you have some leftover spices in your pantry… So it’s time to make them contribute to create a flavored salt with herbs and spices.
I am a fanatic of pan-fried vegetables and I love having a good opportunity to make some.
It’s always possible to season this kind of dish with garlic, salt, pepper, and a little parsley and that’s all. While it’s still working very well, you can try this variant which brings a more dynamic twist because of the bird chili peppers and small perfume of anise star. You can prepare this flavored salt in less than 5 minutes, then forget it a few days in the pantry.
Then when you want cooked vegetables that change from the ordinary, add a few pinches of this spicy flavored salt and you will see the difference!
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Ingredient for Salt Herbs and Spices for Pan Frying Vegetables
- 3 1/3 ounces (100g) of sea salt or coarse salt
- 1/2 ounces (15g) of dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon chili birds
- 10 anise stars
- 1 csp pink peppercorns
- 1 csp dehydrated shallots
Preparation
1. Put all the ingredients from the list in an airtight jar.
2. Forget it in the closet, until the salt gets flavored.
