Fragrant and delicate – The perfect cocktail recipe for anyone who loves to make their own mixers.
Ingredients you need for the Peach Lavender Shrub Cocktail
Directions
1. Remove pits from peaches (keep the skin on) and mash in a medium-sized bowl. Add vinegar, sugar, and lavender, stir well, cover and refrigerate overnight – it’s a minimum, the longer it sits, the better it gets. If keeping longer, stir once a day. The mixture should start to look very juicy.
2. Press the peach, lavender and vinegar mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or a cheesecloth into a clean container. Discard the peach solids. Pour through a funnel into a clean bottle, seal the bottle and shake vigorously. Store in refrigerator for 3 to 5 days, shaking periodically until serving.
3. To serve, pour a dash of the peach lavender syrup into glasses and fill with ice cubes, white rum or sparkling water. Enjoy your peach lavender shrubs!
