This lasagna recipe is a delicious dish you can make in advance and have for lunch at home or at work. The béchamel with parmesan adds a sophisticated touch. Ingredients list for bolognese lasagna
For 4 people:
- 8 sheets of lasagna
- 1lb (450g) ground beef
- 1lb (450g) jar of bolognese sauce (organic is much better)
- Grated parmesan
Parmesan Garlic Spaghetti Squash
For the béchamel parmesan:
- 200ml whipping cream
- 1 ounce (30g) parmesan
- 1/3 ounce (10g) butter
- 1 tsp cornflour
1. Preheat the oven to 390°F (200°C). Sauté the meat with the sauce until it has reduced a little and all the meat is cooked.
2. For the béchamel sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan, add the cornflour, and mix well. Add the cream slowly, and then the Parmesan. Leave to thicken and set aside.
3. Make your lasagna: start with 2 sheets in the dish, covered with meat and sauce and a layer of béchamel sauce. Then add another sheet of lasagna, bolognese sauce and meat, lasagna sheet and finish with the béchamel. Cover with parmesan and bake for 40 minutes in the oven.
