This great detox tea will make you feel better and bring the energy to do more with your days! Made with lemon, ginger, honey, cloves and green tea, it’s perfect for the days after these Holidays feasts. And it tastes wonderfully good!
Ingredients list for the lemon ginger detox tea
Makes 2 cups:
- 2 bags of green tea
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 organic lemon, sliced
- 1 knob (1-inch) fresh ginger
- 4 cloves
- 4 tablespoons honey
1. Wash lemon and slice the half. Squeeze and collect the juice from the other half. Peel and grate ginger.
2. Boil 2 cups water and pour into a tea kettle. Add lemon juice, lemon slices, honey, grated ginger and cloves.
3. Let steep for 5 minutes and serve, garnished with minced ginger, cloves and with lemon slices for an extra lemony flavor.
