A savory tart recipe , fragrant, and easy to make: it is possible! This simple tart recipe consists of a ricotta bed sprinkled with fresh thyme and lots of mushrooms. The crispy pancetta gives a fine and perfect contrast to this easy tart recipe. In short, a perfect pie for a quick dinner with a good salad.

Ingredients: bacon and mushroom Tart

  • Puff pastry (homemade puff pastry recipe here)
  • 1 lb (500 g) fresh mushrooms
  • 2 shallots
  • A pot of ricotta cheese
  • 5 thin slices of bacon
  • One tablespoon of fresh thyme
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation: bacon and mushroom Tart

Preheat the oven up to 460°F (240°c).
Roll out the pastry, prick with a fork and let cool for the rest of the preparation.
Chop the shallots, peel and slice the mushrooms and sauté for about 10 minutes in olive oil.
Salt and pepper.

Spread the bottom of the pie with ricotta, salt and sprinkle with fresh thyme.

Pour the sautéed mushrooms, cover with strips of bacon and sprinkle pepper for seasoning.
Bake for 10 minutes and it’s ready…
