Imagine a both crispy and juicy pears tart, accompanied with chopped nuts and chocolate chips… It’s a fun and nice delight to finish a good meal!

Ingredient list for the pear puff pastry tarts
For 4 people
- 24 rectangles filo sheet of 2 1/3 x 4 3/4 inches (6 cm x 12 cm)
- Melted butter
- 2 pears
- 1/3 ounce (10g) of dark chocolate
- 1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 rounded tablespoon of chopped nuts (optional)
Directions
Preheat your oven to 360°F (180°c).
Stack the filo sheets six by six, basting with melted butter.
Peel pears, cut them in half, and then cut each half into thin slices.
Place 1/2 of the pears in thin slices, beginning at the bottom and working up the filo tartlet.
Sprinkle with sugar, cocoa, and, if desired, chopped hazelnuts.
Cut the chocolate into thin shavings with a vegetable peeler on the tarts.
Bake for 12 minutes in the oven.
Serve hot, alone or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
