Ingredients list for the Lemon Ginger Tea recipe

  • 2 cups water
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, peeled and sliced into rounds
  • Juice of 2 lemons + 1 or 2 slices
  • 2 or 3-star anise
  • 1 small red Thai pepper, sliced
  • 2 or 3 tablespoons of honey

Directions

1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Meanwhile, put all the ingredients into a pitcher and crush slightly with a muddler.

2. Pour boiling water into the pitcher and mix well. Allow steeping for 5 minutes minimum before serving into individual mugs, filtering the ingredients. Add more honey if desired.
