Ingredients: Sauteed Frog Legs Recipe

For 2 people:

  • 500 g of fresh frog legs (or frozen)
  • Sifted flour
  • 150 g butter, soft
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 20 cl Muscadet
  • 25 g of parsley , finely chopped
  • The juice of one lemon
  • Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill

Utensils:

  • Paper towels
  • A garlic press

Preparation: Sauteed Frog Legs Recipe

1. Preparation and cooking frog legs:

Quickly rinse frog legs in cold water, dry them thoroughly and help you with paper towels before putting the flour over the entire surface.

Melt in a large nonstick skillet 125 g of butter over high heat.
Once the butter is melted and hot, brown the frog legs for 5 minutes on each side.
Remove and drain the frog legs in the end. Book.
Deglaze the pan by adding the Muscadet.
Add salt and pepper, then stir well and keep warm over low heat.

2. Preparation of parsley:

Clean the parsley, remove the stems before chopping finely.
Peel and press garlic into the garlic press (or chop them finely).
Combine parsley and garlic in a bowl.
Add the parsley to the pan and the lemon juice and remaining butter.
Stir well, then add to reserved frog legs before. Possibly adjust the seasoning, adding salt and pepper. Mix.
