This Chicken with Vegetable recipe brings a taste of spring with basil or invites to travel with curry. The mixture of fresh basil and curry is amazing, balanced and subtly scented. Moreover, it is a simple and quick recipe to prepare.

The vegetables are cooked quickly, using the wok technique and chicken is cooked in the curry. Do you know that it is better to cook some spices in a little oil  in advance, rather than sprinkling it on food? They then have a more rounded flavor. In the end, simply add the whole basil leaves and cream to complete the Chicken with Vegetable, Curry and Basil recipe.

Ingredients: Stir Fried Chicken breast with Vegetable

4 people:

  • 1 carrot,
  • 1/3 lb (150 g) broccoli,
  • 3 1/2 ounces (100 g) of soybean,
  • 1 lb (500 g) chicken breast,
  • 4 csp. of mild curry powder
  • 3 tbsp. cooking oil,
  • 20 basil leaves,
  • 3/4 cup (20 cl) of whole cream,
  • oil, salt and pepper.

Preparation: Stir Fried Chicken Vegetable Curry

Peel and cut carrots into sticks. Wash and cut broccoli into small buds. Rinse the soybeans.

In a skillet, heat a little oil. Add carrots and broccoli. Stir-fry for 5 minutes over high heat without browning. Add the soy and cook 5 minutes.
Cut chicken breasts into cubes. In another skillet, heat a little oil and add the curry. Saute a few minutes. Add chicken pieces and cook for 5 minutes. Season with salt. Add the basil leaves and mix. After 2 to 3 minutes, stir in the cream and mix. Bring to a boil and reduce for a few minutes. Finally add the vegetables, stir and consume immediately.
