While the syrup is hot, you can serve the drink right away, because ice cubes and sparkling mineral water will cool it down immediately. With the heat of recent days, this fizzy drink is so perfect!

Ingredients you’ll need for the red fruit drink

  • Frozen berries mix
  • Sugar
  • Lemon
  • Mint leaves
  • Vanilla extract
  • Sparkling mineral water
  • Ice cubes

You can use a mixture of fresh berries as well but generally frozen berries are less expensive — and available all year long!

How to make the red fruit drink

  • Heat fruit with sugar, lemon juice, mint, and vanilla until juices release.
  • Strain, pressing fruit to extract juice.
  • Pour juice into a glass, add sparkling water and ice.
  • Serve immediately.
