This Cocktail Lemon Mint Julep is so easy! All you need is lemon for a slightly more potent drink (it’s delicious without it, too), plus bourbon, and fresh mint.

Directions
1. In each of 4 glasses, place 8 mint leaves, lemon and 1 teaspoon powdered brown sugar. Muddle, gently crushing mint to release essential oils.
2. Add 1/2 cup crushed ice to each glass, then 1/4 cup (60ml) bourbon, and 1 tablespoon water. Stir to blend, and add more sugar if you like. Garnish each glass with sprigs of fresh mint.
Note: Be careful not to crush the mint too much as it can become bitter.
