A customized version of the classical gingerbread… Which will make us want to have multiple breakfast during the day! Because when it gets cold, the smell of cooking gingerbread is so reassuring…

Ingredients list for Strawberries Gingerbread

  • 250 g honey
  • 200 g flour
  • 50 g caster sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 10 cl milk
  • 1 packet yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon spices
  • About 8 dried strawberries

Directions: Strawberries Gingerbread

Preheat the oven to 180°c
In a saucepan, heat milk with honey.
Add the diced butter and let it melt, mix well.
Remove from heat, add the sugar, flour, egg, baking powder and spices (mace, cloves, cinnamon, star anise, nutmeg)
Cut the strawberries into small pieces and add them to the dough. Pour all the mixture into a silicone mold (or a dish, previously lined with parchment paper for easy removal).
Bake for 45 minutes and let cool before removing from the mold…
