Here’s a healthy, quick, and easy carrot recipe to pair with your dishes. Who said side dishes have to be bland? These melting and fragrant carrots are cooked with orange and saffron.

Ingredients list for cooked carrots with orange
For 3-4 persons
- 8 Beautiful carrots
- Juice of one orange
- 1 glass of water (200ml)
- Saffron pistils (not the powder)
- Salt
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
Cooking instructions
1. Peel the carrots and cut them into regular sticks.
2. Press the orange. In a large pan, heat the teaspoon of oil, add the carrots, and mix well.
3. Add orange juice and a glass of water. Sprinkle saffron, cover, and cook over low heat about 40 minutes. Carrots should be soft.
