Ingredients list for cooked carrots with orange

For 3-4 persons

  • 8 Beautiful carrots
  • Juice of one orange
  • 1 glass of water (200ml)
  • Saffron pistils (not the powder)
  • Salt
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil

Cooking instructions

1.Peel the carrots and cut them into regular sticks.
2. Press the orange. In a large pan, heat the teaspoon of oil, add the carrots, and mix well.
3. Add orange juice and a glass of water. Sprinkle saffron, cover, and cook over low heat about 40 minutes. Carrots should be soft.
