Directions

1. To make the chicken stir fry noodles recipe: In a large pot with boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Add the broccoli florets the last 5 minutes of cooking and let them cook with pasta until tender. Drain the noodles and broccoli and set aside.

2. While pasta is cooking, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper, and black pepper in a small bowl.

3. Season chicken strips to taste with salt and pepper. Add olive oil to a medium-sized skillet and cook chicken in an even layer over medium heat, turning from time to time for 2 or 3 minutes, until slightly golden. Stir in the garlic, and carrots and cook for a minute more, until cooked through but not overdone.

4. Transfer the cooked spaghetti and broccoli to the skillet and pour the sauce on top and toss until fully incorporated. Reheat for a couple of minutes and serve the chicken stir fry noodles, garnished with scallion and toasted sesame seeds. Enjoy!

Tips for the Chicken Stir Fry Noodles recipe

This is a quick and easy chicken stir fry recipe that comes together in 15 minutes. It’s lighter and healthier than takeout and perfect for busy weeknights. Here are a few tips for making the best chicken stir fry noodles recipe ever!

  • Place your chicken in the freezer for 20-30 minutes before you slice it. This will firm up the chicken and make it much easier to get thin slices. Bring to room temperature for 10 or 15 minutes before cooking.
  • Feel free to double the quantities for the sauce and adjust to your liking when tossing with pasta and chicken.
  • For a vegan or vegetarian version, just omit the chicken.
  • Customize the recipe with chopped snap peas, bell pepper, and sub beef instead of chicken.
  • You can use rice noodles instead of wheat noodles
  • If using low sodium soy sauce, be sure to adjust seasoning with salt or the recipe might be lacking in flavor.

How and how long to store the chicken stir fry noodles leftovers?

This chicken stir fry noodles recipe keeps well in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the refrigerator. You can reheat on the stove or in the microwave. Add a few drops of water when reheating to loosen the sauce.

I think YUM, it was delicious and I will certainly cook this again. It was very easy to make which I was pleased with. I did think the sauce a little stronger but maybe next time I could soften it by reducing the oyster sauce. What do you think. Again great

Really nice. I slightly overcooked the chicken and I think you do need to double the sauce. I had a bottle of teriyaki in the cupboard. Overall just delicious
