Fresh Mango Carpaccio with Ice Cream

It’s hot outside so today we propose a very quick dessert that is also very good. It is so simple to make and requires no baking; it could become one of your favorites for this summer, maybe? As mango always tastes better with a fresh accompaniment, let’s have a shot at this scoop of  vanilla ice cream. It is perfect with this lovely sunshine!

Ingredients mango carpaccio with ice cream

Serves 4 :

  • 2 ripe mangoes
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Mint leaves


1. Peel the mangoes.
2. Using a mandoline or a very sharp knife, slices  the “cheeks” of the mango very thinly
3. Arrange the mango slices on a plate
4. Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the center — you can also use a fruit sorbet.
5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves. Here, we added some cherries for color.
