I remember having once tasted cooked radishes in a restaurant; it was surprising but delicious. Radish is now regularly invited to our tables, so for a change I tried to cook them, and the result is quite satisfactory – slightly crunchy, and ideal with white meat or fish.

Ingredients list for radish cooked in orange juice
Serves 2
- 1 bunch of radishes
- 1 teaspoon oil
- Juice of one orange
Directions
1. Wash the radishes and remove the leaves.
2. Steam for 15 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, squeeze an orange and reserve the juice.
4. In a skillet, heat oil, add the radishes, mix, and pour the orange juice. Cook for about 5 minutes while checking until the juice is reduced. Serve hot with chicken or fish.
