Ingredients you need for the Honey Garlic Pan-Fried Cod
Directions
1. To make the honey garlic cod skillet: Season codfish fillets with salt and pepper. Let them while you prepare the sauce
2. Combine honey, garlic, mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper, paprika, and Cayenne in a small bowl.
3. Heat olive oil in a large stainless-steel or cast-iron skillet over medium-low heat. Gently cook fish on both sides until golden brown – About 4 minutes per side.
4. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the cod fillets and make sure to coat them well. Continue cooking for 2 minutes, moving the fillets around in the pan, so the sauce sticks to the fish.
5. Garnish with cilantro, crushed chili pepper, and lemon slices, and serve the honey garlic cod fillets immediately. Enjoy! ❤️

Tips for cooking cod
Cod is a versatile fish that can be cooked in various ways, such as baking, pan-frying, roasting, grilling, poaching, steaming, and more. When cooking cod, it is important to keep the cooking time short to prevent the fish from becoming rubbery and dry. For the most succulent and tender cod, it is best to cook the fish for no longer than 10 minutes. Some recipes may call for a slightly shorter or longer cooking time, depending on the desired texture.
