- 1 lb (450g) green beans, trimmed and rinsed
- 1/2 medium yellow onion, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper, optional
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish








Directions
1. To make the Instant Pot Lemon Garlic Butter Green Beans: Turn on your Instant Pot and select the “Saute” mode. Add olive oil and butter to the insert. Once butter is melted, saute the onion for about 1 minute then add fresh garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, Cayenne, Italian seasoning, onion powder, and garlic powder. Continue cooking for 1 minute, stirring with a wooden spoon.
2. Deglaze with chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the insert. Add the green beans and Select “Pressure Cook” on a high level for 5 minutes When the cooking time ends, release pressure and do a quick release. Transfer the green beans to a serving dish.
3. Turn the instant pot back on the “Saute” mode and reduce the sauce for a couple of minutes, stirring regularly until you get the desired consistency.
