I subbed some more almonds as humans cannot digest whole flax seed. I super love the rest of the ingredients and how these bars taste, but I was unable to get them to maintain structural integrity. Now matter how hard I press them or how long I freeze them, they're just a crumbly, sticky mess. I still plan to make them again because they're cheaper than store-bought, easy, delicious, and wonderfully crunchy. I'll just keep them in foil in the freezer and eat them with a spoon.
