Ingredients: Leek and Bacon Quiche Recipe
for 4 people:
- 3 whole eggs and 3 egg yolks
- 500 g leeks
- 200g unsmoked bacon
- 20 cl light cream
- 125 gr grated cheese
- 1 large onion
- olive oil
- nutmeg
Preparation Recipe for quiche with leeks:
Slice the onions, cut leeks into pieces.
Fry the leeks. Add the onions to ¾ of the cooking.
Cook over low heat.
Blanch the bacon: dip the bacon in a pan of cold water and go up to a boil. By heating the bacon shrink and lose their fat
Save on paper towels.
Mix the eggs with the cream.
Add the grated cheese.
Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Remove the leeks and bacon in the bottom of a baking dish and pour over the device. Bake in hot oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
Tips:
- You can cook the leeks braised: Arrange the leeks in a pan, add a little water, and instead of using a lid, place on top of parchment paper cut (with a small hole in the middle).
