Here’s a recipe for an elegant or casual entertaining dinner or buffet. Prepare the whipped cream in advance, and these small bites will be quick to make. Plus, they look really great if you use ceramic or stainless steel appetizer spoons with resting handles. You can also use a whipped cream siphon — put it in the fridge for one hour.

- 1 cup (25cl) of heavy cream
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tsp dill powder or dried dill
- Smoked salmon slices
- Lumpfish eggs

Instructions
1. Prepare whipped cream, following this recipe. Add salt and dill instead of sugar.
2. Place a piece of smoked salmon on each appetizer spoon, add a knob of whipped cream — using a pastry bag if you want — and top with a few lumpfish eggs.
