You always had the problem of berries going moldy after only a day or two ?
With this solution you will learn how to preserve summer berries way longer than their “normal” shelf life. The secret is to dunk your berries in a bowl of water with a little white vinegar mixed in. This works with most kinds of berries—raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, etc…
Use approx 10 to 1 ratio of water to vinegar. No need to rinse, the vinegar will kill the majority of mold spores. Store in an air-tight container lined with paper towels to absorb humidity. With this trick you will keep summer berries from 10 days or for over two weeks.
