Yield: 4 servings Prep Time: 10 min Cook time: 20 min
This honey garlic cod recipe is dinner perfection in just 20 minutes! Try the pan-seared cod with rice or roasted veggies for a full restaurant-quality dinner!
Ingredients you need for the Honey Garlic Pan-Fried Cod
Directions
1. To make the honey garlic cod skillet: Season codfish fillets with salt and pepper. Let them while you prepare the sauce
2. Combine honey, garlic, mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper, paprika, and Cayenne in a small bowl.
3. Heat olive oil in a large stainless-steel or cast-iron skillet over medium-low heat. Gently cook fish on both sides until golden brown – About 4 minutes per side.
4. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the cod fillets and make sure to coat them well. Continue cooking for 2 minutes, moving the fillets around in the pan, so the sauce sticks to the fish.
5. Garnish with cilantro, crushed chili pepper, and lemon slices, and serve the honey garlic cod fillets immediately. Enjoy! ❤️

1. Choose a high-quality fish: When choosing a fish for your recipe, make sure you select a high-quality, fresh product. Look for bright, clear eyes, and a firm texture.
2. Use the right cooking method: Different cooking methods require different preparations. If you’re baking, poaching, grilling, or sautéing, be sure to use the right technique to ensure your fish comes out perfectly cooked every time.
3. Season your fish: Fish should be seasoned with salt, pepper, and other herbs and spices. Experiment with different flavor combinations to find the one that’s right for you.
4. Use a marinade: Marinating your fish in a flavorful mix of herbs, spices, and other ingredients can add depth and flavor to your dish.
5. Cook it quickly: Fish is best when cooked quickly and over high heat. This will help it retain its moisture, texture, and flavor.
6. Don’t overcook: Overcooking your fish will make it dry and tough. To avoid this, keep a close eye on the cooking process and make sure you remove your fish from the heat as soon as it
