Ingredients list for the Apple Cranberry Sauce
- 12 oz (340g) fresh cranberries
- 2 apples, peeled, cored and diced
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 – 4 cloves, optional
- A pinch of sea salt
- 1/3 cup (80ml) water

Directions
1. Pick over and wash cranberries. In a medium pot, combine cranberries with diced apple, sugar, salt, water, maple syrup, cinnamon stick and bring to a boil. Cook until the skin of the cranberries pops, about 10 minutes. Watch the pot to prevent boiling over.
2. Skim off any white froth, the cinnamon stick and allow to cool down. Refrigerate the apple cranberry sauce until ready to serve. Enjoy!
