Pear and Warm Goat Cheese Salad

How Goat Cheese Salad - Goat Cheese Salad - Warm Goat Cheese Recipe

Today I propose a warm goat cheese salad. It is well known, we do not necessarily want a nice cold salad when winter shows its nose.

And even for those who love, we can be quickly fed up with endive salads and other shredded carrots… So here is a recipe for a warm goat cheese salad rich in flavor (and not that many calories …) for long winter evenings…

Of course this salad recipe is ULTRA simple and quick to make. You can easily offer it on the menu when receiving guests.

Ingredients: Salad with Pear and Warm Goat Cheese

For 2 people:

  • A baby salad (about half a bag)
  • 2 slices of ham (or prosciutto, air cured ham …)
  • 1 ripe pear
  • Swiss cheese or cheddar, approximately 1 1/2 ounces (40 g) depending on the degree of your cheese addiction
  • 2 hot goats cheeses
  • 2 slices of French bread to make croutons
  • A few walnuts
  • A vinaigrette sauce (with walnut oil if you have it in your closet)

Preparation: Salad with Pear and Warm Goat Cheese

Wash the salad if necessary. Arrange the plates by setting up the young leaves of salad.

Cut the ham into small squares and cheese into small cubes.

Cut the pear into chunks and then prepare a few walnuts. Add all on the salad leaves.

Cut 2 slices of baguette, toast them in your toaster or in oven. Then melt the goat cheese is for one minute in the microwave (if you prefer the cheese is completely melted) or 4 to 5 minutes in the oven (if you like cheese just warm, slightly toasted and in one piece) . Personally, I prefer when it’s melted…

Pour a little dressing with walnut oil over the salad, add a slice of toasted bread and goat cheese on it. And enjoy! That’s it!
