Ingredients you need for the Instant Pot Sausage and Potato Casserole
Directions
1. To make the Instant Pot Sausage and Potato Casserole: Combine diced potatoes, chopped kielbasa, onion, and butter in a 6-quart slow cooker. Make sure to use a large Instant Pot, if too small, you might end up with the dreaded “burn” notice.
2. In a separate bowl, combine chicken stock, milk, heavy whipping cream, garlic, Italian seasoning, Cayenne, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture over the potatoes and sausage. Mix everything together, then sprinkle the 2 1/2 cups of cheese over the other ingredients.
3. Cook on stew for 8-10 minutes. It is done when your potatoes and onions have cooked through. Be careful not to overcook the potatoes. If you like, you can transfer the sausage and potatoes to a baking dish and broil in the oven for 2 minutes to crisp up the top. Serve the Instant Pot Sausage and Potato Casserole immediately.
