Ultra trending right now, spaghetti squash makes a great sub for regular pasta, especially when you are on a low carb diet. If you have concerns on how to cook spaghetti squash, here’s a quick and easy method to get it ready in less than 10 minutes. Microwave is perfect and it should take about 8-10 minutes. You’ll just have to accommodate with your favorite pasta sauce!
Directions
1. Trim both ends of the spaghetti squash and cut in half. Remove seeds and gunk with a spoon or melon baller.
2. Turn cut side down on a baking dish. Add one inch of water and cook in microwave oven about 8 or 10 minutes, depending on the size of the squash. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes, then remove strings with a fork, add salt and pepper, butter, or what ever your heart desires. It is a pretty versatile vegetable!
Note: If you like it a with a bit of crisp to it, cook it closer to the 8 minutes.
