If you find yourself with too many avocados to eat before spoiling sets in, you can still freeze them. Peel, seed and slice the avocado, then soak the the slices into lemon juice to prevent browning. Immediately put into Ziplock bags, removing as much air as possible, and transfer into you freezer. The texture won’t be as creamy after thawing, but it’s still tasty and perfect for guacamole and sandwiches… and so much better than throwing your ripe avocados out!
