Ingredients list for the spicy sesame noodles recipe
- 1 lb linguine pasta (or fettuccine spaghetti, etc)
- 1 1/2 teaspoon chili crunch
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha, optional
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup toasted sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, grated
- 6 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 6 tablespoons honey
- 1 scallion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, to garnish (here we used regular sesame and black sesame seeds)

Recipe highlights
- Ready in just 15 minutes: The sauce comes together while the pasta cooks, making these spicy sesame noodles perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
- Big, balanced flavor: Toasted sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, chili, and honey create a rich combination of nutty, savory, spicy, and sweet flavors.
- Delicious hot or cold: Serve the noodles warm for dinner, at room temperature, or chilled for an easy lunch or make-ahead meal.

Directions
1. Cook the pasta al dente in salted water, according to package direction. Drain.
2. While pasta is cooking, heat oils in a large skillet with chili crunch.
3. Add the Sriracha and grated garlic. Whisk in soy sauce and honey.
4. Toss the cooked pasta back into the skillet with the sauce.
5. Serve the spicy sesame noodles warm, at room temperature or cold. Top with chopped scallion and sprinkle sesame seeds. Enjoy!

Pro-tips for the spicy sesame noodles
- Adjust the heat to your taste: Start with less chili paste and red pepper flakes for milder noodles, then add Sriracha at the end if you want more heat.
- Don’t overcook the pasta: Keep the noodles al dente so they hold up well when tossed with the sauce, especially if you plan to serve them cold.
- Thin the sauce if needed: Add a splash of warm water or reserved pasta water if the sesame sauce feels too thick—it should easily coat every noodle.

How to keep leftovers
Keep any leftover noodles in an airtight container in your fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the microwave with a few drops of water to loosen the sauce a little bit. Add grilled or rotisserie chicken or a more substantial meal ;)
