How to embellish and give a nice and surprising touch to your salads? Sometimes you just have to look at the seasoning to make a great impression.
So here is a super simple idea to give a nice flavor to your favorite oil to make a great salad dressing without any effort.
Ingredients you will need for your chive flavored oil
- 25 ounces of grape seed oil
- a small bunch of chives
Directions
Bring the oil to boil and let it cool completely. Warning: boiling oil is terribly dangerous…
Cool and pour into a blender with the chives roughly cut with scissors.
Turn 2 to 3 minutes and then filter to yield an oil with a very nice color…
A dash of this perfumed oil on lettuce and that’s a very fragrant taste to share, without those little green pieces that children sometimes look with suspicion!
