A crowd pleaser cookbook
I already told you that we loved thematic cookbooks because they take the time to deepen the subject and offer surprising twists. This is totally the case with this cookbook by Mark Miller, the acclaimed chef-founder of Coyote Café in Santa Fe, New Mexico. If you’re looking for colorful and authentic tacos, this book is for you. Mark Millers covers from making of tortillas from scratch to elaborate fillings and sauces, in a very understandable style.
What we like about this cookbook:
- The heat ratings are very useful, it allows to nourish both kids and adults without risking to “burn” one’s palate!
- Perfect if you are short of time, recipes are easy to understand and accurat;the index at the back is more than welcome.
- Covers everything from sauce, toppings and tortilla itself.
- The suggestions from one recipe to another. Everything is paired with other preparations in the book; this allow you to improvise your own recipes.
- The pictures!
