Make the Most of a Small Kitchen!

I love sharing clever ideas and small kitchens are always a field where the most crazy experimentations can lead to wonderful living experiences. Here’s a selection of inspirations where home owners and renters were able to get the most of their small kitchen space with the help of inspired designers. I hope you enjoy the tour!

This smart kitchen layout includes not less than one washing machine, a drier, a stovetop, a large sink and a oven in less that 3 square meters… Look at the opens shelvings in the angles of the upper cabinetry and near the window; this make the main cabinet stand up and not too bulky.

Horizontal wood panelling creates a sensation of space. The soft turquoise and sand colors bring a quiet atmosphere and natural lighting makes the kitchen look bigger than it really is.

This kitchen revamping is funny and unique! I love the blue chalkboard paint that covers the kitchen cabinets and part of the wall. This creates dynamism and break the solid look of this kitchen to create en environment that blends into the rest of the architecture.

Each kitchen cabinet should have an opening system that takes the specificity of the surrounding features into account.

Books always add a friendly touch in a kitchen. It remember us that it’s also a place to read, imagine and re-think the world!

Spices racks and microwave are mounted on the wall, right between the stove and the upper cabinets. Neutral colors and flashy red accents add deepness to the decor of this very small kitchen.

Everything is wood here. This mini kitchen / bar looks like it was designed for a yacht. Note the ceiling and upper walls treatment with wood panels and metallic grids, this create a constrasting contemporary look that add interest.
