We must admit that one of our favorite parts of Holidays is the gift wrapping! If you have a creative hand or are looking for inspiration, finding new ways to make presents look pretty under the tree is an exciting challenge during the holiday season. Cinnamon sticks, branches of pine and candy canes slipped under kitchen string can make a wonderful impression on the most simple packaging. We wrapped this present in white paper and slipped a short branch of pine tree under the string along with a cinnamon stick. Simple, but pretty.
Candy canes are a holiday favorite among kids—and adults too! Red and white kitchen twine is a fun way to add a vibrant touch over a plain paper wrap.
Play with textures by juxtaposing craft paper, burlap or linen. These material play well with contrasting colors and natural patterns.
