The fading bitterness of endives expose our palates to the scented aromas of cooked prawn with fresh cilantro. This giant prawns recipe is very easy and give impressive results for a romantic dinner.
Ingredients: Sauteed Prawns With Endive Julienne, Orange & Cilantro
For 2 persons
- 6 giant prawns
- 2 oranges
- 1 large endive
- 1 tablespoon of onion confit (onion confit recipe here)
- 30 g salted butter
Preparation: Sauteed Prawns With Endive Julienne, Orange & Cilantro
Squeeze the oranges. Reduce the juice to make a syrup texture.
Cut the endive into thin strips. Then fry for 3 minutes in 10g of butter and the orange reduction.
Add the onion confit with endive and keep warm in the serving plates.
Put 20g of butter in a skillet and fry the prawns about 2 minutes on each side.
Chop coriander leaves.
Place the prawns in hot plates, scatter with coriander. Done!
