Ingredient list: pear puff pastry tarts
For 4 people
- 24 rectangles filo sheet of 2 1/3 x 4 3/4 inches (6 cm x 12 cm)
- Melted butter
- 2 pears
- 1/3 ounce (10g) of dark chocolate
- 1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 rounded tablespoon of chopped nuts (optional)
Cooking instruction: pear puff pastry tart
Preheat you oven to 360°F (180°c).
Stack the filo sheets six by six, basting with melted butter.
Peel pears, cut them in half then cut each half into thin slices.
Place 1/2 pears into thin slices, beginning from the bottom onto the filo tartlet.
Sprinkle with sugar, cocoa and possibly chopped hazelnuts.
Cut the chocolate into thin shavings with a vegetable peeler on the tarts.
Bake for 12 minutes in oven.
Serve hot, alone or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
