These Paleo Plantain Chips are baked, not fried, for a healthier alternative to potato chips. They have a crisp-salty shell wrapped around a sweet interior that is sure to satisfy your cravings. Especially delicious with guacamole or salsa!
Ingredients list for the baked plantain chips
- 2 plantains, green or semi-ripe
- Vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper
1. Preheat your oven to 360°F (180°C). Peel and slice the plantains using a mandolin slicer, 3 to 4 mm thick.
2. Arrange plantain chips on a baking sheet and brush with vegetable oil. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes, then flip chips o the other side, quickly brush with oil, then put back in the oven for 10 minutes more.
3. Remove from oven and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
