amanda-freitagThe cronut — if you don’t know it yet — is this wildly popular croissant and donut hybrid created by award-winning pastry chef Dominique Ansel and only sold at his eponymous bakery in SoHo. And because everyone deserves something sweet during the holiday season, this Thanksgiving, Dominique Ansel has cooked up something very special!

The Cronut Mission, the brain child between the world-awarded pastry chef, Dwell Studio Founder Christiane Lemieux and designer Peter Som, gathered up to 16 celebrities and influencers to join together in support of Gods Love We Deliver NYC. The charity is responsible for bringing food to those who are not healthy enough to get it for themselves, and this Thanksgiving the gift of becomes even sweeter for some.

Heidi Klum, Jonathan Adler, Vicente Wolf, and other famous taste-makers created high detailed cronut boxes, which will be auctioned off at Biddingowl.com on november 18th to 26th. Bidding will start at $100 for each of the bejeweled, autographed, and elaborately decorated boxes. Each box will carry two custom cronuts filled with pumpkin cream and topped with 24K gold leaf. These luxury indulgences are totally guilt-free since they help such a wonderful cause!

One of the best things you can do to help get the word out about this initiative is to mention @godslovenyc and #thecronutmission on Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.

To bid on one of those cronut boxes, go to the auction site.
