Belga: A Popular Belgian-Inspired Brasserie in San Francisco

If you’re up for a feel-great brunch with pan-roasted mussels and fries, this little jewel tucked in the heart of Cow Hollow is the spot you have to check right away. Opened in May 2015, Belga is a brasserie-style restaurant offering belgian, french and german cuisine in a friendly and playful atmosphere. Don’t forget to bring a bunch of friends along!

On the drink side, bar manager Ryan Murphy has compiled more than 70 Belgian and craft American beers and ciders, accessibly indexed by their flavor profile — great for the newbies who want a proper initiation (like us!). Theme-appropriate cocktails and a solid wine list round out the full bar.

The selection of beers and the food are delicious and satisfying for a modest price. Did we mention that the staff is also super friendly? Reservations for the restaurant are highly advised!
