2. Include lean red meat in your meals each week

Include lean red meat in your meals each week. But if you are a vegetarian you will need to eat legumes and/or nuts on a daily basis instead. You can have at least 3 servings of these in a week and this is vital so that you can actually include other meats within your healthy eating plan. But if you do eat less than the recommended amount you may find that your intake of iron and zinc will be decreased so you may need to include supplements in to your healthy eating plan.

3. Eat at least one legume meal each week.
